Jintsu-Waterfall in Kamiyama-cho, Myouzai-gun, Tokushima Prefecture. It has been selected as one of the 50 Tokushima water travelogues.
渓谷に瀑音が轟いています。
Waterfall is roaring in the valley.
神通谷川の上流にある落差30ｍほどの直瀑の滝。神通滝の下流には姫の滝もあります。
A waterfall of about 30m in height, directly above the Jintsudani-River. Hime-Waterfall is also located downstream of Jintsu-Waterfall.
神通滝に行くには2種類のアプローチがあり、滝つぼまで行けるコースと、滝の正面で景観は良いけど、滝つぼまでいけない対岸から滝を眺められるコースがあります。
There are two approaches to go to Jintsu-Waterfall, and there are a course where you can go to the waterfall and a course where you can see the waterfall from the opposite shore where the scenery is good in front of the waterfall but you can not go to the waterfall.
今回は滝つぼまで行けないコースから滝にアプローチしましたが、途中で川を無理やり渡ったので、滝つぼ近くの撮影もできました。
This time I approached the waterfall from a course where I could not reach the waterfall, but I forcibly crossed the river on the way, so I was able to take a picture near the waterfall.
今回、神通滝へアプローチしたコースはこちらの駐車場から行きました。こちらの駐車場からのアプローチでは滝壺まで行けません。
This time, the course approaching Jintsu-Waterfall went from this parking lot. You cannot go directly under the waterfall with the approach from this parking lot.
上にグーグルマップを張り付けておきますが、表記の「神通滝遊歩道駐車場」から神通滝まで行っても滝の真下までは行けないので注意してください。
Although the Google map is pasted on the above, please be aware that you cannot go to the location directly under the waterfall even if you go from the "Jintsu-Waterfall promenade parking lot" to Jintsu-Waterfall.
ただ、滝の景観を楽しむのであれば、滝の真下まで行けるコースより此方がのコースがいいかもしれません。
However, if you want to enjoy the scenery of the waterfall, this course may be better than the course that you can go directly under the waterfall.

The image above is taken from the course where you can see the waterfall from the opposite bank, and the image below is taken just below the waterfall.
The splashes are amazing. The camera lens will get wet quickly.
川を渡って対岸に行き、滝の真下までいきましたが、川を渡るのはおススメできませんので、滝つぼまでどうしても行きたい方は、コースを十分検討してから滝に向かってください。
I crossed the river to the other side of the river and went right under the waterfall, but I can't recommend crossing the river, so if you really want to go to the waterfall, consider the course carefully before heading to the waterfall.
川を渡らずに安全に滝の真下まで行きたい方は、下のマップの場所へ直接向かってください。
If you want to safely go under the waterfall without crossing the river, go directly to the location on the map below.
ただ此方のルートは滝の対岸まで行けるコースに比べると道のりは結構危険です。
However, this route is quite dangerous compared to the course that can go to the opposite bank of the waterfall.
滝間近までくる山道もかなり崩れていて、危ないと感じました。
It may be difficult to understand, but there was a place that crossed the top of a wooden stick about 15 cm in width. I felt that the mountain road that came up to the waterfall was also broken, and it was dangerous.
舗装こそされていませんが、ずいぶん歩きやすいです。
This is the mountain path from "Jintsu Taki Promenade Parking" to the waterfall. It is not paved, but it is quite easy to walk.
子供やお年寄りがいるなら此方のコースがお勧めです。
If you have children or the elderly, this course is recommended.
